Yes, as long as they are under 17.





For rebate purposes, a qualifying child is one who is younger than 17. That means that taxpayers who claim an older college student as a dependent won't get the extra money.

Yes it does, as long as they were claimed as qualifying children. You wouldn't get a rebate for child who was claimed as a qualifying relative.
